The National Flower Engineering Technology Research Center is a national science and technology innovation platform approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology in January 2005, relying on Beijing Forestry University. Engineering technology research and development has been carried out in five directions: flower resources and Germplasm innovation, cultivation of new varieties of flowers, modern production of flowers, postharvest storage and transportation, flower application and construction of residential environment, and a number of landmark achievements have been achieved. Five fresh-keeping warehouses installed in our unit have been running steadily for many years with low failure rate, which has contributed to promoting the progress of flower industry and realizing the sustainable development of the industry.
